“Leaves of Grass” directed by Tim Blake Nelson, starring Edward Norton, Keri Russell, and Henry Max Nelson.
From IMDb:
An Ivy League professor is lured back to his Oklahoma hometown, where his twin brother, a small-time pot grower, has concocted a scheme to take down a local drug lord.
Okay so when I first saw the title, I was like “Walt Whitman?” and while the movie did have the book visible and Whitman’s poetry is quoted, it didn’t actually follow Whitman or anything.
Norton’s acting was pretty great. It wasn’t the best movie ever, but it was enjoyable. I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the ending, but meh.
I give it a 1.5 out of 5.
